I should also add that a parasitic weed is present in the paddock.
branched broomrape (orabanche ramosa) which is controlled best by group b herbicides which further explains the continued use of them
in this paddock. My normal farm practice on continuously cropped paddocks is if possible group b (logran) in the first wheat crop and hopefully can go 3 or even 4 years
before another application.
