The average depends on what crop you are talking about. Corn and soybeans are from September 1 to August 31 of each year. The 2 year average price use for the benchmark for corn and soys is from Sept 1, 2007 to August 31, 2009, so it is not quite established. The 2009 crop year price is determined from Sept 1, 2009 to August 31. 2010.

Does that help?
So what is the price they go off of to see if you get paid for this crop? Also do they use the county average for BPA?
