Texas is far from broke!


I traded a trailer a few years ago during a rain storm, and the dealer said not to worry about the license plate, he would take it off after the rain was over.

A few months later I'm getting toll bills from the Houston area.  It seems the dealer sold it to a customer in Louisiana and they "forgot" to remove the plate.

A quick call took care of the problem and they were very nice and polite to deal with. 

Just call them in the morning and leave your lawyer alone.  That way you won't be broke!
