Subject: Aphids at R1 stage

Soybeans aphids are approaching almost 250 per plant at the R1 stage so should I be spraying right away? We never had aphids this early in soybeans before so I have no experience with how much yield loss is done at this stage since spraying this early will likely mean respraying in two weeks or earlier. There are no ladybugs around but did see some ants contolling one part of the field well. Any input or recommendations would be appreciated. TIA
