The one we use doesn't have lift cylinders, and the rope trip mechanism to shut off the seed metering wasn't working properly, so if you were driving, you were putting seed down.
I did 2 rounds then started planting back and forth. The headlands ended up getting twice the seed but i see it as that is where most of the traffic is, so didn't worry about it.
