West Texas | It was either in the late 80's or very early 90's when my father in law told to not be surprised in about 15- 20 years or so there would not be a tractor dealer but every 100-150 miles or so and they would be owned by big dealer ships, no independent single dealers.
I would not believe him then but he sure was right. It's getting that way in a hurry. CIH been gone from here for 10 years or so. Closest dealer is 65 miles away and it ain't much of one. Thus hardly any red around this area.
Cat is 90 miles away and they aren't pushing ag. Anytime we need parts it has to come from Dalhart, 300+ miles away. I do jump across the border into NM for parts, but they have to come out of Denver, Co.
Blue? I think there's a dealer in Artesia, NM. About 90 miles from here or Lubbock, 90 miles.
So we are in a county/area with nothing but green pretty much. It's a shame though.
