For what it’s worth, I put Irish Spring soap pieces or shredded pieces of a bar soap around mice do not like the smell of Irish Spring. I’ve use Irish Spring in my camper for two years and I’ve never had a mouse in there yet. I gotta knock on wood, but I hear from other people that it does also work, just put some in your toolbox that’ll keep the mice out of toolboxes.
Have good day
Rich

Shaved up several bars of Irish Spring and put it in and around wife’s corvette while being stored and the mice ate about half of it. Nothing except traps and cats do anything around here.
