Subject: RE: Mice in Machine Shed/Shop Mice

North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast
For last two years, I have an old dog house that I put couple of pans of cheap cat food in with a pallet in front to keep dogs out.
Keep some food in it when I’m here so cats aren’t out hunting, my dog chases them.
As soon as that food is gone, they are hunting all the time. Also, keep a little food in cold weather so they don’t stray.
There is a big Black bobtailed male that runs the barn, only allows female cats to hang around.
Sometimes a coon or opossum will find it. Catch them in live trap and feed buzzards.
Caught big Black in it and he sprayed me as he threatened to kill me, he came back next day and sprayed the trap again but won’t go in even if food pans are empty.
Had kittens this past summer but they soon disappeared.

Note, these are NOT pets, they hide and seem to roam mostly at night when I’m here.
I only use live trap while here if I see something on camera that needs eradication.
