Pittsburg, Kansas | What passes for official recomendations on what we eat. Researcher (who specializes in insulin and metabolic research) talks about it. Bikman is a must listen for any diabetic or anyone who is over weight of metabolically unhealthy in some fashion. He has a wealth of knowledge and presents it in such a way that is easy for us less well educated can understand. As a diabetic, he is one of my health hero's. It is long and in an interview format. The bad news is it is long. The good news is in an inverview (rather than a formal presentation) format he has the chance to discuss in more nuanced tangents. I always pick up something when listening to him, even though I have listened to many, many presentations and interviews in the past.
He is very good at differentiating between what he knows based on research and what is his opinion and ideas that are less well grounded.
