First and foremost John I don't dispute things you say or believe. It seems like you're somebody I'd enjoy knowing as a friend or neighbor.

What I don't like is long drawn out explanations that could be summarized in a few short sentences while the rest of it seems like justification for a theory, point of view, or results of research.

This applies to every field, especially on  YouTube where a 15 minute video spend 1/3 saying hi, I'm so&so, 1/3 saying you need this and I discovered it, made it, etc. and the last 1/3 showing or explaining.

I think my years of programming changed the way my brain works.  I've been irritated with all manner of "professionals" who refuse to explain in direct and simple terms the answer to a problem.  This is a common problem with mechanics, electricians, lawyers, doctors, computer repair shops and even clergy.
