oregon | I've been driving 1/2 tons forever. We have a 3/4-ton service truck on the farm, so I know how rough-riding they can be when empty. The trend for pickup trucks to become higher and higher (talking about height) is ridiculous in my opinion. I'm considering going to go 3/4 or 1 ton for my farm pickup and to put a flatbed on so that I can access tools, my shovel, etc easier.
I'm getting too old to jump up and put my soft belly on the bed side while I teeter over and grab something I need. I went to the dealership to look at Mega Cabs and the short box vs. Crew cabs and the short and long box. Tomorrow I'll probably go and look at the other brands for their extended cab versions.
As far as prices...I still can't believe what I'm seeing. | |
