Blow-by alone should not be warning you about impending catastrophic failure. I would run it if I needed to or wanted to but don’t expect that to fix anything

Add in low oil pressure, oil light coming on at idle when hot if you don’t have a gauge……(put one on it)…….it’s telling you it’s tired and you’re on borrowed time…….especially see below…….

Add in gaining oil (fuel dilution) or having to add no oil but oil is thin when you didn’t put in a light weight oil…….. STOP……DO NOT CONTINUE. Expensive repairs are in store for you!

I agree, it only takes one or two really good cylinders to make one start well or one or two to cause excessive blow by. We tend to think either one tells the story on the whole engine and they frequently do ……… but not always.
