My one time doing CPR for real wasn’t successful in the end. Child of some friends. I was called to help after he had fallen out of a tree. Not sure how long he had quit breathing, but got CPR organized with his parents helping and we continued until ambulance arrived and the EMT’s took over. They were successful in getting his heart and lungs working again at the hospital, for a while. In the end, they had to take him off life support, so it wasn’t a good outcome.
Very stressful…….afterwards. Ambulance and parents left for hospital and I’m coming down off Adrenalin with nothing to do.
