Melancthon, Ontario | Do it. My grandfather at 80 needed 5k in work and he refused to spend it. He's been struggling to eat for 9 years now, rest of the family sure wish he'd let the dentist fix him up (family would have gladly funded it but that wouldnt have made the difference).. Wife is a dental assistant, she says implant is the way to go IF he has good bone denisty. If his jaw bones are getting punky an implant may not hold for long. If hes got most of his original teeth and looked after his mouth more or less to this point, there's likely lots of bone left to anchor to. Bridge relies on the teeth beside for strength, how good of shape are they in? | |
