Wow, thats bad! But I thought the John Deere perma clutch pretty much lasted the life of the tractor?



Well actually it was the clutch disks in the shift on the go part of the transmission. That was about the most expensive repair I've ever had on a piece of equipment.

That transmission in your 2090 - would that be similar to the 8-speeds they had in the 1175? Or were there quite a few changes when they went to the 90 series?
