I finally took the old 2090 Case in for some much needed clutch repairs. It was dragging so bad it was hard to get in or out of gear (standard 8 speed) and I'd already broken a shift pin earlier in the summer. So it was overdue but being my main chore tractor it was hard to pick a time I could be without it for some time. The bellville washers used in the clutch (27 of them) are $40 each which seems like a lot for a washer but there is no option. Without them the tractor is useless and its far too good to scrap even though it is over 40 years old.
