sc ia | My neighbor has been trapping them, he had a record night (for him) last night with 17 coons.
I can remember turkey hunting years ago and seeing a coon traveling about 50 yards away. I started squealing with my diaphragm call and he immediately changed course and headed my way. I was sitting with camo leaning against a tree. As he was coming I pulled out my knife and was thinking no one would believe me if I got one with a knife. When he got to arms length away from me I swung the knife to slit his throat but he jumped like a rabbit and I got nothing but air.
