Western Oregon | 1 large onion, equal amount celery and bell pepper, diced fine cooked in butter until slightly soft
1 lb beef, sliced thin and browned. Add vegetables and cook together for a few minutes. Bear meat is even better.
1 can S&W pinto chili beans
3 tomatoes peeled and diced
1 big teaspoon of cornmeal
Simmer for 3-4 hours
Sometimes I add more chili powder but I don't like spicy or hot foods....James | |
