Subject: Re: soybean planting ques

Central Ohio
We have planted bean at every row width imaginable. 7.5, 10, 15, 20, and 30. Never noticed a consistent yield difference to speak of. In fact, this year we have 4 different row widths. Plant soy with a lot of different rigs. However, 15 seems like the best compromise to me. Can cut pop back from drilled pop, but still get fairly quick row closure for weed control and moisture retention.
