south central WI | Wire ones are heavier, so less fun to handle, but they aren't usually too "pokey". Wire side up and there won't be any issue. I do prefer the bias ones. Get truck tires, I prefer them over car tires. They are both better than full tires.
The worst part is when you have the last sheet 75% covered and it is too steep and the plastic slides off "allowing" you to take them all off and put them back on again!
