Looking at a kitchen remodel in the not too distant future. Local warehouse bargain store has "rubber wood" butcher block for about half of Lowes price. Anyone have any experience with rubber wood counters or butcher block countertops in general? We do a lot of home cooking and baking. Anyone stain it darker? Maintenance that needs done?
