Tex I sell like Robin on the grid with fats and rail with culls, I will never forward contract with the big four! as I believe it is not in the best interest of my segment of the industry. At close to 100% choice and prime my cattle would probably get hurt as well as Robins, we don't have fat cattle sales up here in the Northwest so it would be a buyer to the ranch--- history has showed up here, they won't even come out to steal our cattle because they have a massive captive supply and never ending trucks rolling past from Canada. Do you think something needs to be done ? or are you saying one size wont fit every part of the country ? What's your answer if it needs tweaked ?
