That is surely the way it looks. It seems like a "war" of this scale should be generating lots of videos and news reports - that are not from call of duty or from years ago in other conflicts. No way would our "media" shy away from carnage. However it seems like we rely on Al Jazeera for Mariupol coverage (where an almost empty hospital was hit). I'm not saying it's not bad, but I have yet to see a story that makes complete sense (ie. 10K Russian troops marched into a city, captured leadership with mild to significant resistance, but took the city... causalities were X). However, we have top politicians making personal visits into what is supposed to be a war zone. Sometimes I think these politicians are jealous of billionaires and are having the US gov't fix that.
Maybe they’re not lining up to go get killed. Last count I saw was 14 journalists have been killed in this conflict |
