In Arkansas they use 1/2 gallon per acre of active and no buffering agent or surfactant, they now have RR, red root pig weed. I was able to kill it at 1 gal per acre active, buffered the water with sulfuric acid to 3.0 pH and plenty of 80/20 surfactant at 10 gpa water. I used a weed wipe with 50/50 glyphosphate and buffered water with surfactant and killed it also. The key is low pH, surfactant and 100% of label rate.
