Southern Missouri
Ams and potash do help, this Crowley soils area generally needs lots of calcium lime and being able to run some really good water that’s really cheap to pump down the furrows helps a ton. What’s interesting here is how well they appear to be adapting to losing their cotyledons and still put out a leaf, you can probably tell by that pic that the soil here makes a pretty wide crack and sunlight is actually shining on the cotyledons down in the crack and some how the plant is sticking some leaf’s up out on top the surface , they’re tough buggers. The cotyledon in this pic was stuck below the soil surface and the plant had stuck that leaf up.
