Denmark | Back in the early 70´ies I was onboard a westbound flight from Tucson, Az. Stopping in El Paso the plane got fully loaded. People carried lots of stuff onboard and just sat it on the floor.
A very big man sat down beside me and shortly after the no smoking sign was off he started moving uneasily around. I asked him if he was all right and he replied: I dropped my cigarette! Ups, that can spell bad news. I told him to get out in the aisle so I could dive down to the floor in search of it and the passenger in front of him dove down too. Pretty quick the guy in front of him found the cigarette which was still alight of course. He handed it to the big man who sat back down and resumed smoking it. He did say thanks. | |
