Subject: RE: Spraying Speeds

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Vegetables on my farm get fungicide at 30gal/acre. We can apply at about 8 or 10 MPH at that rate using AIC11005 nozzles. Insecticide I run 15 gal/acre at 15 MPH through the same tip. Herbicide we run lower rates, like 10 gal/acre, 17 mph with size 5 tip or slower with a size 4. Most guys on this side of the world run much lower rates than me. I don't pay much attention to pressure but I like it to be at least 30psi on up.
