Subject: Feeding sheep triticale silage

Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA

Anyone here have experience feeding sheep something like triticale silage? All feed is expensive right now, but we have triticale to chop that looks like it’s going to be the cheapest feed option available locally.

How much would 350 ewes and lambs eat this summer, or 600 feeder lambs eat next winter? Could they keep up with the face of a 12’ bag?
