Was checking fields 4/26 frost in truck loading areas at 16" ,standing corn stalks no frost. On 5/08 truck loading area (different field) frost at 24" none is standing stalks. Tried pushing peaty spoil piles from December tile job, ice six inches into pile on north face. Sand and old beet ground getting planted in area, rolling clay hills still thawing depending where snow drifts weren't.
