NCent. IN | I bought a raven CR 7 to replace my cruiser 2 for guidance and to control my Raven accuboom. The sprayer came with a 460 rate controller....mid to late 90s model. Supposedly, I should be able to hook the speed output to the 460 for speed input for rate controller. But I am getting a steady mph on the 460 regardless of actual sprayer movement. The cr7 is showing gps speed matching sprayer movement.
The cruiser had a bad display screen.
I did take the 460 out and put it in my planter tractor and it worked with the tractor radar the way it was supposed to.
Any ideas on why the CR 7 isn't communicating radar speed correctly to the 460?
It did say the 460 should be set to radar, but I did change it to wheel speed sensor just to try it with similar results.
