They are the major buyer of corn in Pa. . They have a monopoly here with the only other major player being Perdue . I had a bad feeling when they kept buying Mills and elevators serving the Northeastern part of Pa. that it could have a negative impact on us. Do your coops and buyers put a cap on corn in your area ? How do you feel about this practice ?
My quess is, they have enough corn bought to get them to fall. Betting price will come down by then. Just a thought. |
