sometimes the road is really closed, like bridge out. then they have it completely baricaded. sometimes the roads work in done except for the paint and there is room to drive around the signs. i guess if it is just signs and paint, i would go at my own risk than drive many miles extra to go around. road closed signs protects the county from liability.
i would hate to try it with a big rig i would have to back out.
