| Well I am going to say this. When you need parts you will probably will get raped by the price of parts from Agco. We had our last piece of Agco machinery in the early 80s and they were way higher than Deere at that time. (I have heard from others that it hasn't gotten any better.) Also if you do need parts from a Deere, if you look at the countryside there is a lot of them out there so the availability from getting parts cheaper from either a dealer of a salvage yard will be more likely.
Looking at the initial price of a piece of machinery isn't everything. Maintenance charges are just as important for such an investment. | |
