You can buy alot smaller sp and get more done than a large pt. We have a cih 3185 smallest sprayer they make with 750 gallon tank and 90' boom and we do close to 20,000ac a year with it no problem. The advantage to the sp is you can go faster if the conditions allow as high as 17 mph with a pt you would probaly max out at 10 or 12 mph. I would not be with out my sp now.
