You're not being rude by simply stating you had good planting conditions. Just a statement of fact, you're fortunate, other aren't.

Far as the "rolling to hilly ground", I've no idea what you call hilly compared to what I call hilly, but that said, 4x4 will keep you straighter when on my "hilly to rolling ground". Unless there's a big fuel consumption difference, don't see any difference with having the front end working to keep you straight.  MFWD is meant to be used not just additional front end weight, an to look 'cool'.

LOL.. tractor's start to "wear out" the minute a person starts using them,, so,, they just going to keep the whole tractor in the shed just so it doesn't "wear out" so soon ??

Think "Dad and Uncle" are splitting some pretty fine hairs......

Could be wrong,, but don't think so.
