Rivers, MB | How did your Tobin (??) air disc drill work this spring? Did it work as well as you hoped it would. Did you achieve the high speed that you were hoping for?
I agree with your comments on the other drills. I would like a disc drill for some situations, a Seedhawk for others and then a simple hoe drill (1830, Maxim II etc) for most situations. Unfortunately, that would cost too much so we keep it simple with a Maxim hoe drill. Simple, cheap and works very well in 90% of any situations. Still working on how we can have the option of fertilizing while seeding with MRB's, mid row shanks or double shoot openers.
