We ran an 8820 for many years and were putting shoe bushings in every two years. Then we bought a Gateway plastic chaffer (top sieve). The shoe bushing trouble went away. They are so much lighter and I like the way it adjusted. One other benefit is the fins are replaceable. I think Gateway is out of Mendota, Illinois.

We didn't like the 8820 and thought it was too hard on itself. Had a 6620 before that -- hard to work on and small capacity. I think the 7720 has shown to be the better model.
