I put schlagels on this year partway through. The stuff I planted with them came up quicker for sure. It breaks the trench nice rather than packing the dirt in hard. Still leaves it firm enough around the seed. I like them a lot so far. Only did corn with them, next year I will have to figure them out on the beets that are planted much shallower.
