I really think the Shoup, el cheapo sort of, closing wheels with no down pressure work as well as any and don't plug with root balls like curvetines or other "finger" style closers. But that's here and not there. I don't want down pressure to squeeze the trench closed I want the wheels to move loose soil over it.
