NW Iowa | I sometimes think an open front shed is dryer than a tight enclosed shed. It’s more humid on rainy foggy days but it dries out fast. As far as birds goes they don’t do any real damage but they sure can make the machine look bad. Unless they biuld a nest on the exhaust manifold. I hate birds in buildings. Every building, old and new on my place is bird tight but money talks and an open front lean to is a good economical way to keep machinery out of the weather. If you do build it consider constructing the plate above the opening in a way that will permit adding doors sometime down the road. | |
