I would definitely look at going with a stationary electric grinder. We grind around 70 tons of feed a week and I would never go back to using a portable grinder. Such a time saver to be able to grind feed through the night or be able to walk away and not have to worry about someone being around there. Not sure where you are located but IMO Agri Services works in the Ohio, Indiana, Michigan area. They at least have a website which has pictures of past projects. I would say you could get by with a 6-8 ton an hour grinder grinding that amount of feed in a week. Would at least definitely have a big enough bin to get a full load of both SBM and DDGs.

Would that setup be cheaper than a large portable grinder mixer knowing that each needs a shed with all commodities auger to it. The auto also needs a delivery truck. So why dont ya like a portable Grindr ?
