SW MN - mt. lake/windom | Location makes a big difference whether it’s justifiable to mfg feed or not. If you are in pig country and have service providers cost effectively providing the service you may want to wait. I’ve looked into mfg feed and can say I am happy to not have the constraints of feed mfg today. If you are just getting into pig ownership, you may want to step back and decide what you see as long term goals. If your goal is to provide an income for yourself on 5-10k head a year then maybe mfg feed works. If your looking to grow the business feed mfg can be a big liability. | |
