Central MN | Oh ours has that. It was set way to fast from factory so we slowed it way down however then it didn't have enough power all the time so we turned it back up part way and will click it forward backward as to not kill the beaters.
It definitely does a nice job and one thing we are noticing the more we use it is, we might not save bedding but they are bedded up nicer and the packs seem not so lumpy it's nice and smooth, probably better for the critters
