| Yes you can use that platform kit 78100-04-RS with the 8250. In terms of APMD with your CFX. APMD is your same ez pilot system with more terrain compensation (and a few other advantages---see comparison charge link below). In place of your IMD600 you will use your NavIII controller for upgraded terrain compensation. You will also need different harnessing to include the nav; PN 85000-02 MSRP $820
