central ohio | I am looking at purchasing a 2009 JCB 8250 and was wanting to put guidance on it. I currently run a EZ Pilot in my Case 7120 with a FM750 on RTK. I would like to continue to use the FM 750 and add a NAV II/III and auto pilot valve to keep things in the cab minimized.
Looking at both JCB and Trimble websites I am not sure this is possible. On the Trimble site they have a list of compatible tractors. The 7000 series and newer 8000 series are listed but not the 8250. In the JCB brochure it states the 7000 series steering is the exact same as the 8250. I am including some pictures of the information I am sighting.
Just trying to figure out whether it is possible or not.
I could just move the EZ Pilot but since I have an RTK correction I would like to do something where the steering is more accurate. I found the platform kit for my tractor which is 78100-04-RS that says it works with EZ Pilot, EZ Pilot Pro and APMD. I guess I could purchase an APMD and NAV III, would that work with my FM750?
I currently have three FM750s. One with RTK, one with RTK and Variable Rate, and one WASS.
I posted previously in the Machinery forum but only got one answer.
Thanks for any help
Jeff
