So i have never played with coax. The monitor has the half turn click in end. Those cheap antennas look like a thread. Is there a way of building these?

Envisio Pro with internal GPS had a BNC connector at the monitor and a TNC at the antenna. The first ones came with either a patch antenna or an MBA-3. Epro 2's came with MBA-6 as they were unlockable for better than WAAS and needed a L1/L2 capable antenna if unlocked to Omnistar or RTK.

To build your own coax cables you will need special crimpers, each size cable needs a different crimper. I used primarily RG-58U and used to order cable in 1000 ft rolls. I changed the part of the precision industry I am in so now I order all my cables premade. I have bought from L-Com.com as well as others.
