| If you are already on AT&T and happy with them, consider an iPhone. About the only thing the Pre will have over the current iPhone is the ability to run several apps at once - but rumors have been flying around that the next gen iPhone will do this. They are expected to reveal the next iPhone next week during Apple's WWDC. The Pre does have a "real" keyboard - but one review I read on it didn't speak very favorably about it. They claim the buttons were too small and spaced too close together - always pressing two at once. Maybe that is something that could be overcome with practice.
Something else to consider - Palm is on it's last leg and the Pre is expected to either save the company or kill it. If they don't make it, you might be stuck with a smart phone with no app store.
For anyone interested - rumors are also going around the tech world that Verizon will get an iPhone this year. Nobody seems to know how much truth there is to it, but word supposedly came from a high ranking Verizon employee. We'll see. | |
