| There are several modes wisp radios operate in and you can do the client/access point or point to point bridge often listed as WDS. It doesn't matter much for sharing internet, but if you need to do more networking where you can 'see' devices behind the wireless connection you need to use WDS. In my situation I use access points to connect to client radios at the customer sites, but to get the bandwidth to the access point we use point to point links in WDS mode (makes a more transparent bridge).
