| I had a 254 and don't remember ever having a problem with not moving all of the hay. I think the tines pick up the hay in the middle and throw it up and back. They're an ok rake and an ok tedder. On the 254 the plastic bushings where the tine arms pivot wear. The 255 has bearings. The cam follower rollers also wear. My biggest complaint is that with the center windrow it took 3-4 passes to make a double windrow in light hay. It was more of a pain to hook up the 3 pt mounted rake than a pull type. | |
