If you rebuild it and plan to put a turbo on it, pull the crank and put the extra oil squirters in. It will have one set in, adding the second set will make it definitely turbo ready.

You can upgrade to the 1 1/4" oil pump but you may need (likely) a different crank pulley otherwise it will draw down tight against the housing.

Google dt360 into 706 and that should bring up a thread that used a common 5.9 cummins manifold with a little die grinder machine work that made a nice setup.
That would be the first way I would look at. I'll try and post a link if I get it found.

Leaman Tractor Parts is building a steel turbo manifold that flows a lot of air for the 300 series motor. For mine I had found an original IH 360 turbo manifold off a log skidder or power unit. It's set at 165hp at rated speed and runs well and stays cool.

I had a D312 I put an MW turbo on for the man I sold it to and had it set around 100hp. I never had it in the field with the turbo but that was a really nice little tractor.

I'd put a 14" clutch and 15 spring pressure plate if you want to work it, and a clutch assist if it doesn't have one.

Here is a picture of the Cummins manifold on a 360 in a 766 from redpower, the thread I referenced had pics on another site host and they are all gone.
The second picture is of how I set my 360 up with the original IH turbo manifold. Notice the turbos are facing two different directions. Shortening the fuel tank was not a big deal.
